Archive: Revisiting this series of work as there are more yet to complete. It has been a while but these are works I am looking forward to working on. There are a framed set sitting in my studio that I still enjoy having nearby and really to share them 😊

Enjoying the time to work on the digital compositions having created the physical sketches a few weeks ago. They are not scanned reproductions of a complete painting but rather an electronic composition of digital assets. These assets are water based brush-mark / line / droplets aesthetically edited into original abstract works that are electronically scalable for a range of output, projection and publication. Would be great to take these from screen to stage.

Arnulf Rainer, artist who painted over existing images, 1929–2025 The Austrian was interested in ideas of destruction and renewal

Whilst the studio is still in sewing mode and finishing off a few projects, the actual making process and design elements are equally as inspiring as well as the left over remnants and exposed structure of objects and waste.
I am sure these visual elements will be reinterpreted in new forms.
