Sitting right on the Swan River in East Fremantle, this much-loved pub serves up cold drinks, delicious food and regular live entertainment alongside some pretty spectacular waterfront views.

If you've ever wanted to swap the Swan Valley for a little slice of Germany, Duckstein Brewery is the place to do it. Located in Henley Brook, this much-loved brewery has been pouring handcrafted German-style beers for more than two decades, with their Pilsner, Dunkel, Hefeweiss and Altbier all brewed on-site.

The atmosphere is just as much a drawcard as the beer, with a spacious beer garden, live music on weekends and classic dishes like pretzels, sausages and the famous pork knuckle. Add it all together and you've got a genuine taste of Germany, no passport required!

Winter is a great time to visit the City of Bunbury, and this year there's even more reason to make the trip!

Running from June to August, Mookaroo-k Goomburrup - Bunbury Winter Events will see more than 40 events and experiences take place across the city, including live music, food experiences, markets, cultural events, exhibitions and family-friendly activities.

Among them is the Bunbury Big Weekender, bringing three days of entertainment to the city centre and waterfront, plus intimate live music pop-ups on Victoria Street, a winter film festival at BREC, Winter Warmers storytelling sessions and plenty more.

Something magical has landed in the Perth Hills!

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is now open until July 12 at Jorgensen Park, Kalamunda - a night time walking trail through an enchanted forest filled with magical creatures, interactive spellcasting, and some of the best moments from the films brought to life with lighting, sound and special effects.

It's family friendly, suitable for all ages, and food and drink (including vegan and gluten-free options) are available on site!

Lightscape has returned to Kings Park and Botanic Garden from now till 26 July, with over 20 large-scale installations from international and local artists lighting up the garden after dark!

The trail spans 1.8km, runs Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30pm, and there's marshmallows and hot chocolate along the way. Tickets from $36 for adults and $96 for a family pass, with a free shuttle running from Perth Busport.

Just under two hours from Perth, Beverley is a much-loved Wheatbelt town known for its beautifully preserved heritage buildings, country hospitality and rich agricultural history. Wander the historic main street, explore local museums and attractions, and enjoy everything that makes regional WA so appealing.

The Burswood Peninsula offers some of the best walking paths in Perth. Follow the riverside paths around Optus Stadium, take in the views from Matagarup Bridge and enjoy fantastic views of the Swan River along the way. It’s especially beautiful in the late afternoon as the sun starts to set.

For those looking for a set route, the Optus Stadium Loop is an easy 3km circuit around the precinct, taking around 30 to 60 minutes depending on your pace.
