The recently opened Glen Brook elevated walkway is giving visitors a whole new way to experience John Forrest National Park in the Experience Perth Hills.

Stretching around 250 metres through the bushland, the new walkway offers elevated views across the brook, granite outcrops and surrounding canopy, and forms part of a major revitalisation project inside WA’s oldest national park. Built using corten steel and reclaimed spotted gum, it blends into the natural landscape surprisingly well.

One to add to your next Perth Hills day trip!

Found just off Murray Street in Perth’s CBD, Wolf Lane is one of the city’s most colourful surprises - a laneway that helped pioneer Perth’s street art movement and still stops people in their tracks today.

Commissioned as part of FORM’s ongoing PUBLIC project, the once underused laneway was transformed into a vibrant outdoor gallery, now lined with large-scale murals from local and international artists including ROA, Alexis Diaz, Amok Island, Maya Hayuk and Pixel Pancho.

The oldest winery and vineyard in the Peel Region, Peel Estate Wines has been crafting exceptional WA wines since 1979. Set among wetlands and native Tuart bushland in Karnup - just 40 minutes from Perth - the estate produces an award-winning range of reds, whites, rosé and fortifieds.

Alongside wine tastings and delicious lunches at the restaurant, Peel Estate also hosts weddings, events and a popular monthly farmers market showcasing local produce, makers and live music.

Built by convicts between 1861 and 1868, the limestone building that now houses Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre has lived many lives - from lunatic asylum and women's home to US Navy base and technical school - before reopening as an arts centre in 1972.

Today the four-acre site on Finnerty Street in Fremantle is filled with contemporary art exhibitions, live music, creative workshops, artist studios, a cafe and a shop showcasing WA makers, all set among beautiful lawns and shady trees.

One of WA's most iconic heritage buildings, and one well worth a visit.

Just an hour south of Perth, Shoalwater is as good as WA beaches get.

A seaside suburb of Rediscover Rockingham, Shoalwater sits on the edge of the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park - home to bottlenose dolphins, little penguins and Australian sea lions.

Jump on a ferry with Perth Wildlife Encounters to Penguin and Seal Islands, kayak or windsurf through the waters, or explore the marine park's pristine reefs and shipwrecks by diving and snorkelling.

Just another reason to head for the Experience Perth Hills!

Located in Serpentine National Park, around an hour from Perth, the Baldwins Bluff Trail is a 6km return walk that climbs through jarrah and marri bushland before opening up to sweeping views across the Swan Coastal Plain, Serpentine Falls and the valley below. It’s rated Class 4, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended, but the summit views make the climb well worth it. It's a great addition to a visit to Serpentine.
