But doesn't eating fat make you fat??
I know so many people who have the misconception that eating fat will make them fat. WRONG! Good fats don't make you fat, but eating too much of anything can contribute to making you gain weight. One of my favourites is flax seed oil.
Flax seed oil contains omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fibre, protein, and zinc and also provides omega 3, which promotes optimal heart health and brain function. Flaxseed oil assists your body in burning more fat and stimulates the secretion of leptin (a hormone that helps in suppressing appetite and using your bodies stored fat as energy).
Add a tablespoon of flaxseed oil to your smoothies or add it to your favourite salad dressing. Be sure to keep flaxseed oil refrigerated & remember that it is not to be used for cooking as the oil will become rancid and not provide any of its great nutritional benefits.

Check out my amazing client/friend who competed in her very first fitness comp over the weekend. Donna placed 2nd in Bikini class Nabba/wff WA.
