On the stunning rooftop space of COMO The Treasury, lunch and dinner against a backdrop of sweeping views across the Swan River and Perth.

Our contemporary dishes revolve around the indigenous ethos of six seasons with farmer and forager-driven menus. Wildflower occupies a Perth CBD rooftop space – an elegant, contemporary steel and glass box on COMO The Treasury hotel’s fourth floor looking out over the city. Seating 80 guests in the main dining room and a further 30 in the bar and outside terrace, Wildflower serves contemporary dishes revolving around the indigenous ethos of six seasons with farmer and forager-driven menus.

When dusk settles over the city, Wildflower takes on a different kind of glow.

Below, the foreshore begins to shimmer — city lights scattered like fallen stars, moonlight dances softly across the Swan River and familiar faces gather once more. Within the dining room, the evening hums with quiet anticipation as each course is laid upon the table, inviting guests to savour each moment as it arrives.

A night at Wildflower is not just dinner with a view, but a slower kind of theatre — where the skyline, the season & the table all meet after dark.

To close off the season, the table turns savoury.

Sourdough, blue cheese, stout, honey & walnut come together in a final course that feels almost cellar-like in character — malted, salted, fermented & quietly rich.

The sourdough crust is carried into the parfait with blue cheese, while stout honey settles at the centre with pickled walnut folded through. Finished with walnut tuile, shaved walnut & Maldon sea salt, it leaves the menu on a deeper note — less sweetness, more memory.

Where forever first finds its form.

For one evening, Wildflower opens as a glimpse into the wedding before the wedding — the room softly dressed, the glassware waiting for its first toast, florals gathered as though the season itself has entered the room.

High above the city, the dining room begins to hold the feeling of the day to come. The skyline settles beyond the windows, botanical murals frame the celebration, and every detail is placed with the quiet intention of something deeply personal about to unfold.

For State Buildings Wedding Open Day, step inside Wildflower & begin to imagine how your own celebration could take shape above the city.

Celeriac, wattleseed, miso & butterscotch.

Served warm, celeriac cake finds its sweetness in an unexpected place — earthy, soft & quietly savoury beneath a miso, wattleseed & butter butterscotch.

Before the first table is seated, the room is already in motion.

Menus are studied, wines are poured, questions move between the team. Every detail is considered before it ever reaches the guest — not to make service feel rehearsed, but to make it feel effortless.

At Wildflower, hospitality begins in these quieter moments: in the knowledge shared, the care taken and the teamwork between floor, kitchen & cellar that brings the evening into focus.

Carrot, orange, Geraldton wax.

Purple & orange carrots are worked into sorbet, carrying their natural sweetness in a cooler, more vivid form. Orange compote brings a soft citrus depth, while Geraldton wax oil adds its native perfume — floral, green & gently aromatic.

For the past six years, Ryan de Villiers has brought a wealth of knowledge to Wildflower, shaped by a career across continents & a genuine reverence for hospitality in its truest form. His respect for the land, the season & the traditions that guide our dining room is felt in the way he leads each service — considered, generous & never without charm.

From Zimbabwe to Dubai and now high above Perth, Ryan’s path has been defined by dining rooms that demand precision, warmth & character in equal measure. At Wildflower, that experience becomes something quietly distinctive: service that feels deeply informed, instinctive & entirely at ease.

Recently named AHA Outlet Venue Manager of the Year 2026 and recognised as a finalist for Gourmet Traveller’s Restaurant Personality of the Year, Ryan continues to remind us that great dining is shaped not only by what arrives on the plate, but by the people who make the room feel alive.

Wagin duck, Manjimup truffle, Davidson plum.

Aged for ten days, the Wagin duck breast carries a deeper concentration of flavour, finished with honey soy glaze & duck jus for richness and warmth. Duck liver parfait adds silk and depth, while Davidson plum cuts through with a sharp native brightness.

Served with duck crumb and a truffle croissant pudding with black garlic on the side, the dish gathers around the darker pleasures of the season — savoury, layered & quietly indulgent.

From the cellar, with a little Burgundy restraint.

This August, Wildflower opens a select release of Red Burgundy, curated by Emma Farrelly, Director of Wine & Hospitality at the State Buildings, for those who appreciate Pinot Noir with depth, elegance & quiet complexity.

Served by Coravin or by the bottle, each wine offers a chance to explore one of the world’s most revered regions with a little more ease — no occasion required, only curiosity.

Available throughout August at Wildflower.

Not every Wildflower experience needs to unfold in full.

Our à la carte lunch brings the same seasonal discipline to a more open form — dishes shaped by the Noongar calendar, offered with the freedom to choose what the afternoon calls for.

A shorter sitting, perhaps. A lighter path through the menu. Or a long lunch allowed to find its own tempo above the city.

Available Wednesday to Friday.
