Day Training with Bohdi 🐶
Bohdi was so excited to be out at the park with us! We focused on building his recall while still giving him the freedom to enjoy and explore his environment.
We also introduced some loose lead walking, helping him learn the value of staying close and checking in with his handler.
He did an awesome job and had plenty of fun along the way. Happy boy! 🙌

Meet Thor 🐾
Thor will soon be joining us for a Stay & Train weekend program. He is almost 2 years old and will be spending some time with us while we work through his reactivity and help build more confidence, understanding and calmness in the world around him.
We’re super excited to get to know him and help guide him through the process alongside his owners.
Stay tuned to follow Thor’s progress!

Meet Bohdi ☺️
We did a private training session with him and his owners to work on his jumping and loose lead walking.
A big focus for today was helping Bohdi understand how to slow down, make calmer choices and stay more connected with his owners instead of getting caught up in the environment.
We worked through clear communication, consistency, and rewarding the behaviours we want to see more of.
Excited to work with him and watch his progress 🐶

Day Training with Lunar today and she honestly did so well.
We worked at a busy park around lots of distractions and I was really proud of how much she’s processing things by herself. She would notice dogs or other distractions, look, think about it, and then choose to disengage on her own without needing help from me.
The only time I really had to step in was if she stared a little too long, but even then a simple verbal reminder was enough. It’s really nice seeing her start to make better decisions by herself instead of relying on constant guidance.
Big progress for Lunar today 🖤

Private training session with Luna and her owners.
They came to us for loose lead walking, so we focused on building the foundations for that. We put Luna on the long line and worked on recall and engagement, while also speaking about why those things are so important.
A big focus was creating space for Luna to make her own decisions, helping her feel involved in the process rather than being forced through it. The more a dog chooses to engage and follow guidance on their own, the stronger and more reliable the behaviour becomes.
Luna did so, so well and we’re excited to hear about her progress 🤍

Mini training session with Keynsham and Reggie
We worked with Keynsham on ways to help with his demand barking by introducing duration work and the “quiet” command to help build more patience.
With Reggie, we went over tips for continuing his heel work, including positioning, food delivery and important foundations to keep in mind throughout the training process.
Both dogs did super well and we look forward to hearing about their progress. 🐾
The result is earned in the process.
Reactive dogs aren’t giving us a hard time, they are having a hard time. It’s our job to help them through it.
