Speed up slow down...heel technique with young Sunny. She has definitely got the idea! 🥰 I was asked to take her out on my own the other day and Im pleased to say her heel work was lovely. Had to share!

My view of this mornings rainbow and a couple of Wednesdays kangaroos. Sometimes I need to remind myself that this is "work".

Little Kobe met Harry today.
When I say "met" I mean walked neutrally next to Harry, but was very relaxed about it.
Dog by dog we are building Kobe's confidence and that of his owner.
Its beautiful to see.
The walk was also great for Harry who is usually able to socialise when out with me on pack walks but this was very different, and he was a great little helper today.

** Apologies for the video quality**

When I first met Picasso and took notes on his history, I wasn't sure I would ever get to this point..and it's happened surprisingly fast.

On our last walk I could see he was relaxing into life...life with other dogs in the picture. Its taken 2 previous lessons with Halo much further away, for me to work out that Picasso is very fearful of other dogs and his reactivity is likely fear based. We carried out some exercises at a distance which we decreased gradually, but today his energy was just where I wanted it to be to take the next step... we walked together for a full hour with 3/4 of it on the same path and I even allowed a couple of sniffs of Halo towards the end.

So very happy with this progress. A long way to go, but heading in the right direction! Well done!

From our Easter Bunny to yours...

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter....and remember if Halo can show self control around chocolate rabbits and real rabbits....so can you! 😉🤣

On a serious note keep your pups safe by keeping them away from all the chocolate. 🐾

Happy Easter!!

A hot day equals lots of water play!
Some loved the pool and would happily lay there all day (Cookie) some loved the sprinklers (Po) and others considered getting wet, but chose to run around the water if possible (Harry). Kaya and Sherbie, just went in everything and loved it...until the bee sting (poor Sherbie), but we dealt with that and he was ok.

Another hard working client getting results!! So proud of this team! Its really early days but I cant wait to see where we end up!

These 2 dogs used to get so excited when the leads came out that they would often end up fighting each other. Now they leash up calmly, heel to the door, sit and wait patiently while the door is opened and exit on cue. No fighting or screaming.

The walk to the local park was also a headache with both dogs pulling the whole way there.
A few simple changes and now they can walk nicely to the park, something their owners didnt think possible.

Well done!!

Video 1... first attempt walking to park introducing speed up slow down technique

Video 2... straight out of the house, heeling nicely.
