Balanced Behaviour

Hats off to this fabulous bunch of women for building up the confidence to give a Hoopers trial a go (half for the first time)!! Well done everyone and what a perfect day it was! Thanks to Zen Dog Training for running the day!

Congratulations everyone who attempted their next level in Hoopers assessments Thursday night, it was great to see you all giving it a go!

Special mention to Brannagh and Trixie for gaining their level 2 and 3 Hoopers ribbons, well done!!

For those who narrowly missed out or couldnt make it, casual weekly lessons going forward will mean another chance soon.

LETS BRING BACK THE PACK!

Pack walks have fallen a little behind as I have been busy, but Id like to bring them back.

Pack walks are great for building confidence in timid dogs, for teaching dogs how to co-exist without excitement and for practicing training in the real world.

Well done beginners obedience tonight! You now have the basics of many behaviours but I hope to see you back in Level 2 to progress and proof them around distractions - preparation for real life. Keep practising everything we have learnt so far. :)

Look at this face!! This is Chegg, a relatively new client, only started training about 4 weeks ago but has progressed in leaps and bounds because of his beautiful nature and his owners hard work.

Chegg is very keen to please, loves his food and is a fast learner. Id happily take this one home!!

Chegg gets too excited around other dogs (at a fair distance) so once we have the basics covered that will be our main training goal...calm around other dogs. We've got this Chegg!

My view of this mornings rainbow and a couple of Wednesdays kangaroos. Sometimes I need to remind myself that this is "work".
