14 days to tell the Minister: No more exemptions for Alcoa! Hundreds of hectares of precious forests are being destroyed every year whilst Alcoa is granted exemption after exemption and allowed to run reckless on the Darling Scarp. When is enough, enough?

Alcoa's exemption allows it to keep clearing despite being under simultaneous assessments from state and federal government bodies.

We are encouraging the public to voice their opinions about the decision, the flaws of Alcoa’s current exemption and calling for it not to be reinstated.

The Federal Government has labelled Alcoa's clearing a "deliberate repeat breach”, indicating the company was well aware that it was acting with blatant disregard for environmental law.
