Mask+Mane

Ok, so...
It is with a heavy heart that we have decided Mask and Mane will be closing its doors and not reopening. I have loved the last year and a half with my little miracle and even though I miss painting faces and styling your hair, I believe the next chapter of my life is meant for family. I realise I haven’t been operating for a while anyway, but feel I have been unfair with not giving you a ‘return to work’ date. I am so sorry to those of you that have been asking, and I was unable to give you an answer.
We have been contemplating this decision for months and have decided it’s best for us. I am so grateful to my loyal clients that have been waiting so patiently for me to return from maternity leave, and I am so very sorry to disappoint. Thankyou all so much for your continued love and support over the past few years.
Who knows what the future holds, but for now- Hasta La Vista babies.

Is there anything more glorious than juicy cute little baby feet?? 😍 I just can’t get enough.

My little man has been earthside now for 6 whole months! That means I have been on maternity leave for 6 months already! Oh how time flies. Reefs corrected age is 13 weeks so he is still too little for me to come back just yet.
We hope that your all staying safe in this crazy mad world and once the pandemic calms its farm (and I start to understand this parenting thing a bit more 😅) I will let you all know about available appointment times.

The newest member of K&A is finally home where he belongs. 9 long weeks and a roller coaster of emotions later our little labourer has worked his way through the King Edwards NICU and special care nurseries to get to us. Welcome home Reef, you absolute legend.

For those of you that don’t know yet, Kory and I would like to welcome our little rainbow earthside...

Reef Michael Condon made his safe and speedy arrival on Thursday the 14th of November at 6.30am sharp. He is a few months early for his appointment, but is doing so very well. We are completely in love with his little squishy pink soul and we couldn’t feel more blessed. ❤️🌈🥰🎉💙

Dear much loved clients,
Unfortunately this pregnancy (although such a blessing) is not panning out like I had planned. Yesterday I was transferred from Joondalup hospital to King Edward Memorial Hospital with suspected preterm labour. Everyone here is incredible and we are being monitored very closely by all the best in the business. I am currently 28+6 weeks pregnant so it’s still a bit too early to meet our little miracle. Everything from here on in is very uncertain and even the doctors aren’t yet aware of a plan so I think it safest for us, and fairest on you all if I finish up for the year now. All of my booked clients will be contacted today and I will tag and share some of trusted hairdresser friends and their salons on this post incase you aren’t aware of where else to go. But get in quick! Christmas is very close and these ladies are all so good they are running out of spots. I am so very sorry for any and all of the inconvenience caused by this. Especially because having babies is something my beautiful husband and I have strived for for so long and we never in a million years thought it would go this way, I suppose no expecting parents ever do. I hope to see you all in the new year at some stage, with my healthy baby in toe.

So unfortunately I have been struck down with gastro since Thursday. I have been monitored by a whole herd of fantastic doctors at Joondalup Health Campus and baby is totally fine. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to those whose appointments I have had to cancel over the last 3days and will (hopefully) be up and at it again as of next week.
