Sew Realistically after the horrendous loss of life and injury to our Australian native animals due to the bushfires, I could expect to create Wildlife Pouches of many different designs to suit the needs of various carers.
On one website requesting pouches, a statement bothered me. "Don't worry if the fabric is ugly, the animals won't notice!" ... I thought yeah but the wonderful carers who give up so much of their time will notice. Some have the wild life cuddled up in lounges and kitchens.
In fact I chose to add some bling just for the carers.
I created 'Thanks Carers' with my 2nd hand electronic Pfaff and cut up a dress I made in the 1990s with the green smiley face.
While I will never see the pouches with animals, at least I know the carers will feel appreciated.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SEE MY BUILD IN STAGES: .....With perseverance we can do anything, including learning many new skills in order to fulfil our dreams. After all that Disney employee said... "If you can dream it you can do it." I have that quote in my Fairy Factory. Trouble is I have too many dreams and therefore projects, on the go.

A couple of energetic guys asked if I could create a waterproof heavy duty canvas bag. It was to be fitted to the handle bars and held firm.
The track includes watercourses and rain is expected on the month long trek. With all three of us collaborating we came up with bespoke bags.
The guys are chuffed and I am please to have been able to recycle the canvas deck chairs into useful bags. Canvas from three deck chairs were required for the two bags.

I loved the idea of a ground loading barrow. I had deck chair canvas thrown out by Joondalup open air cinema. A neighbour put a duty barrow on the verge. Wheel good tray rusted. I married the tow.

This loom has improvements on Mark #1.
My woodwork skills are marginally better, with still so much to learn...and so little time.
