At last weeks HIA Perth Housing Awards, one of my designs was a finalist in the Custom Perth Built Home $520,000 to $620,000 category. 🎉 build by Unique Residence.

Very Proud that one of my designs built by H**p Homes Australia was awarded 6 awards including Best Country Home South West at the Master Builders Western Australia for the project ‘Indica H**p House’ located in Wilyabrup.

This is a major award which was wonderful to see Industrial H**p - h**pcrete building been recognised at this level.

No win tonight but lucky enough to be a finalist at the Hart & Co Kitchen Design Awards.

My H**p house design has undergone a life cycle design analysis.
The results demonstrated a 90% savings of greenhouse gas emissions across its life when compared to standard building practices. the economic and environmental benefits are shown below. 🌱

Building practices like this not only enhance individual well-being, they strengthen communities and above all else promote environmental sustainability.

Merry Christmas everyone🌲 I will be taking a well earned break from the 22nd of December to the 10th of January to spend time with friends & family. ☀

The inexpensive change that came just from painting the dark face brick in this 70's City Beach renovation.

One of the more exciting projects I have been working on this year has been the design of a new home made from H**p. I love that there has been a shift in momentum towards green building process and materials, h**p has low environmental impact with significant capacity to sequester carbon, superior thermal insulation and simple construction process that almost eliminates waste.

I am already missing warm sunny days,☀️ being able to open the house to nature is good for the soul. 🙂🐞🌱

Another 3D render completed for a bold kitchen addition, I am really looking forward to seeing this one under way, it will make a huge difference to the existing house.
