Adult Progressive Ballet Technique Workshop!
We are welcoming all adult dancers and non dancers to come along to our PBT workshop!
This workshop is not just for dancers, itโs a wonderful strengthening program for adults of all levels.
When: Saturday 4th September 2021
Where: Studio B.
Time: 12.30pm-2pm (1.5 hours)
Cost: $50 per person
The workshop is run by certified PBT instructors Vicky and Alex. We will both be instructing and observing exercises over the course of the workshop, taking you through a range of PBT repertoire.
This program covers exercises tailored to strengthening, flexibility and hyper mobility and can be modified for anyone with body limitations.
ONLY 12 LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE due to equipment so please book early to reserve your spot!

What is PBT?
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. The program helps with injury prevention and rehabilitation and enhances the ability of athletes to perform at their best.

Mums and Bubs classes are here at studio B. ๐๐ป
Mums & Bubs classes are a great way to get the body back into shape and meet your needs as a new mum. These classes will help you regain muscle memory as well as strengthen and mobilise the rest of the body.
Through matwork Pilates exercises, using bub as our friendly weight, or bub as the perfect distraction, we work to give mums a good workout with the comfort of knowing their little one is near by.
All levels welcome and no prior experience in Pilates needed.
All attendees must have doctor and/ or physio exercise sign off with bub older than 6 weeks.
Please bring a rug/throw, socks and a water bottle. Mat and some toys provided.
Unfortunately no pram access so please bring bub in a carrier if possible.

Behind studio B.
Hi Iโm Vicky and for those that donโt know me, Iโm the passionate creator behind studio B.
I have created an underground North Perth dance fitness studio space that allows people from all ages, levels and fitness backgrounds to come together and embrace the power of fabulous music, movement and fitness.
My aim is to make people feel happy, fall in love with fitness and movement, and love the body they are in. My clients range from 16-65 years of age and our workouts are designed to cater to the needs of each client, so that everyone feels accepted and welcome.
Being a former professional ballet dancer, I have incorporated my extensive technical knowledge into my workouts. Consequently clients quickly notice a huge difference in their posture and alignment, and a significant improvement in their strength and flexibility when attending classes regularly.
Our class include Pilates, stretch and release, barre, fit ball, cardio dance, indoor HIIT, adult ballet, Broadway jazz and floor barre. We also offer private coaching and will soon be offering private and semi-private Pilates reformer coaching.

Matwork Pilates
Through a series of floor exercises, we help strengthen your body's powerhouse. Using resistant bands, rings and stability balls, we help sculpt and tone your core and guide you to the summit of your personal goals. We understand that your effort in each class translates into your everyday routine, and we are committed to helping you build stability that you can use on the mat and beyond.
High-Intensity Interval Training
HIIT is a cardio session arranged as short bursts of hard work. The point of high-intensity training is to kick up the intensity of your cardio. This class will ease you in with a warm-up, crank up the volume with some cardio and strength training, and finish you off with a nice stretch so you leave the class feeling refreshed.

Find your discipline.
Is fitness is really a part of your routine? A lot of us let the word โbusyโ take over, leaving self-care to the side.
As the weather gets cooler, yes, it is harder to find that motivation to stay fit. But as the temperatures drop itโs more important than ever to look after ourselves by moving our bodies, eating fresh food, drinking lots of water and get a good nightโs sleep.
Booking your classes into your weekly routine is the first step to ensuring that you get the exercise your body needs this winter.

Miss Portia๐
If it werenโt for the Covid pandemic our beautiful Miss Portia would be in Paris now living her dream, on contract with the Le Moulin Rouge. ๐๐ป๐ฑ How amazing.
For now, how lucky are we to have her at studio B?๐๐ป Yay!!
You can join Portia for her early morning Friday Barre class 7.30am - 8.30 am and then head off to work. You will also be able to enjoy her jazz moves in our Tuesday evening Broadway Jazz class running at 5.30pm over the upcoming weeks. Donโt miss these opportunities to try her classes out before she eventually flies off to Paris ๐

We are online! ๐๐ป
Following the latest directive from the West Australian Government, we have put our classes online. With a few small adjustments, we are offering most of our classes online until Saturday morning. We are planning to be back in the studio Saturday and will be in touch to confirm later in the week.
We encourage you all to keep that body moving and join us for our online workouts. Please see Mind Body or our website for our online timetable.
