A food blog focusing on Game, Fish, Seafood and the various ways to harvest and use them. To highlight the fact that reward will always outweigh the effort.

Wild food from Australia and around the world tastes that much better when you have made the effort to harvest it yourself... " Give a man a fish and you give him a meal.... Teach a man to fish and you will feed him for life."

Who eats brains?
Wild game animals offal of any discription is a fine line to manage.. A knowledge of what to look for in distinguishing a healthy animal is key in the harvest of game meat offal, especially brains.
A delicacy in my eyes yet not so much to most.
The pictures are buffalo brains, salted and cleaned then mixed with egg and bread crumbs before frying and served with vegetable chips.. bush style eating at its best..
