A nice job on something I won’t get to do regularly. The original post had wet rot through the base and around the handrail. We cut the original one out and used it for a shape reference. I turned a new piece on the lathe, then re installed a new handrail and balustrade to match the old. 150 mm square post x 3 m long.

This is a huge 2.5M, Victorian ash Tv cabinet I made up the workshop. It was for a client through It has a 45° edge all round with continuous grain through the doors. The client was very happy indeed - I was slightly jealous by the end.

Working on an old colonial house, 150mm thick x 3m long post removed, a new one has been turned on the lathe. Now for the install.

My latest job was at His Majesty’s Theatre in Perth. We had 3 weeks to install a hydraulic stage in 3 sections. It was great to work in building with such character. A very unique opportunity to work on a difficult project.

Will and myself have been busy in the workshop. We finally finished another beautiful Marri timber dinning table. We hope Iain and Sarah love it as much as we do.

Ive been working on some main entrance doors in Perth city at the new QT hotel. They are Copper clad on an aluminium frame, finished with curved Tasmanian oak stiles, rails & internal tongue and groove panels. Measuring up at a huge 4.2 metres high and 1.8 metres wide.

This is sneak peak at something myself and Will Thompson are working on at the mo. 2 coffee tables, 1 live natural edge, the other a river resin waterfall table. Both out of Marri Timber slabs.

Ive been busy this week in the garage. Ive got the new wood lathe up and running nicely, and I'm finally able to start using up some of the logs from Mosman Park Golf course. They have dried out nicely over the last year.

A large renovation area on a gym, pool and alfresco area. No expense spared for a very rich client.

It doesn't matter what size shape or style of door or frame combo you are after. There is always solution to what you want. I have worked with a few door suppliers over the years and the end achievement is always satisfactory. I have installed bifold & stacker doors. Sliding, Sash or bifold windows.
A majority of these products are due to Cedar West.

Installing decking around a pool area, this was using Thai Mahogany, which was a dream to use and very versatile. the client didmc want an end finish on it and let it weather to a beautiful silver colour.

A very stunning piece of architecture to a new build house. Louvre vents add a statement to any house entrance. Easily fitted at not to much cost.
