With the soccer season fast approaching, the boot exchange is back 🎉.

🗓️ Sunday 8th Feb
⏰ 9:30am - 10:30am
📍 North beach soccer club

If your boots are clean and in good condition, you can exchange them for another pair at no cost! We have sizes from kids 12 to Adults 11.

♻️ If you don't need another pair, we'll happily take donations too! You can drop these off in our donation bin at anytime this weekend, outside the North Beach Soccer Club, club rooms.

If you don't have a pair to donate, but are struggling with the rising cost of living, send us a discrete DM and we'll see what we can do to help!

The City's Community Grants Program supports community groups and individuals with projects that reduce waste through reuse and recycling, promote sustainability and protect and enhance our natural environment. ♻️

A great example is The Boot Exchange, launched by program coordinator Matt Lawley, thanks to the City's quick response grants. This community project enables families to trade their pre-loved football boots for another pair, free of charge, making sure good gear doesn't go to waste.

Since kicking off in 2024, the exchange has found new homes for more than 150 pairs of boots, preventing them from heading to landfills and collectively saving families over $12,000.
