The Direct Communications Emergency Warning System (EWS) is a locally designed and built system that fully integrates into the Weatherzone warning alert website along with the Bureau of Meteorology website. With the EWS's high visibility, this system has been designed specifically for the open cut mining industry.

Alerts are pushed to the Warning signs via any LAN or WLAN network, these highly visible LED based light boards are designed to be seen for kilometers. The same alerts and alarms can also be sent across the two way radio system.

This system is prevalent across some of the biggest mining companies within WA with hundreds being deployed over the last five years.
