Exciting news at Nexxis! We are proud to announce that Josh and Ryan – Equipment Service Team, will be completing an Apprenticeship in conjunction with South Metropolitan TAFE.

Josh and Ryan bring a wealth of skills the right attitude, and enthusiasm to the Nexxis team, and we are confident that they will excel in their studies as we believe in investing in the future of our workforce and providing opportunities for growth and development that has no limits.

We will be taking a few days off over Christmas. Lab61 will be closed on the following days:

🎄Monday 26 December - Boxing Day
🎄Tuesday 27 December - Christmas Day Public Holiday
🎆Monday 2 January - New Year's Day Public Holiday

We will be open every other day Monday through to Friday 8am - 5pm.

Curtin University students Joseph Loveday and Sarah Le have spent the past 12 months at Lab61 and Nexxis Technology, working with state-of-the-art technology - including robots - as part of their thesis project for their Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering.

Initially both students’ projects were focused to separate applications, but through the individual research conducted in the early phases of the project, Joseph and Sarah joined forces and converged to a similar solution and technology.

As a result, a joint prototype was constructed and acted as a test bed for each student’s unique control software. While many roadblocks were encountered, each student found innovative and creative solutions to the challenges to achieve a successful and operating prototype.

These promising Engineers have both been employed by Nexxis and we look forward to being a part of their exciting careers!
