This evening is a 2-hr long FREE workshop (RSVP in bio) facilitated by AliceC and Annika Moses for artists with a sound or movement practice and improvisational experience.

At 7:30pm, an improvisational performance by workshop participants is open to the public, so bring your friends!

Please note:
• The studios are accessible from the Murray Street or King Street entrance and a lift/stairs to level 2.
• Entry into the performance is by donation at a pay scale $ 5/10/15 at the door. The workshop is free.
• Audience only permitted to watch the performance.

WWIMake-Shift is so back!

Make-Shift and WWIM (fka Walyalup Weekend of Improvised Music) are collaborating!

This is a 2 hr long improvisation workshop facilitated by AliceC and Annika Moses, two very special local artists who will share their thoughts and expertise on sound and movement interplay and collaboration from an embodied understanding of improvising.

Following this, at 7:30pm, is an open improv performance for workshop participants, open to public viewing!

Wow! It’s been a month since the beauty that was SHORT-MAKES!!!

You’ll receive:
• 20 hrs of studio research time
• up to 15 min presentation time
• low-fi technical support
• photo and video documentation

What a beautiful start to the year!!! We are so pleased by the turn out for Makeshift x Perth Moves 2025- the first of many moments for research, performance practise and gathering shared by the makeshift community this year. Thank you to the artists that shared, the viewers that came and to for their support.

The next Makeshift will happen on the Sunday the 30th of March. Because of the busy schedule that this time of year brings we are trialling a gathering on a Sunday afternoon.
We are looking forward to sharing the space with you all very soon!!!
