Musical Therapy is a local music event in Perth which brings together local artists and bands from a variety of genres to perform on the same stage. We aim to create a sense of community among local musicians as well as hand picking artists and bands whom we know will make audiences feel like they can unwind and revive.

I recently came across this documentary Alive Inside. It's about the affects of music on alzheimer's and dementia patients. The results are remarkable! This is evidence that music is powerful. It brings us alive and inspires us.
I highly recommend all music lovers and musicians to watch this documentary if you haven't already. I hope for musicians it inspires you to continue to make great music that touches the hearts of many and for music lovers it will enrich your love of music even more...

Check out Hey Muzo.org. They're a collaborative music community, that aims to help encourage and promote people in music. They hold monthly events to help provide a platform for artists to display who they are and help them create a musical resume to display to others. From this they also try to link them to services to help with their music career!
