🍃💕Today we launched our newest Cariad Project session — Kindness Across Generations💕🍃
As we get older, life can change. People may lose loved ones, find it harder to get out and about, or simply have fewer opportunities to spend time with others. Through this session, we’re helping children understand those changes while showing them that even the smallest acts of kindness can help someone feel seen, remembered and valued.
Today our young people baked our brand-new apple cake recipe, shared the beautiful story Dragon Folding, and explored how connection can bring colour back into someone’s world.
To finish, each child decorated a gift bag with their own message of kindness before their baking was delivered to older members of our community.
Our hope is simple: that every person who receives a cake knows that a child spent time thinking about them, creating something just for them, and reminding them that they matter.
This is just the beginning of Kindness Across Generations, and we can’t wait to see it grow into opportunities for children and older people to connect, share stories and learn from one another. 💕💕💕

Sometimes life has other plans…
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve made the decision to move our Quiz Night to October.
The silver lining? We’ll be swapping winter for sunshine! ☀️
We’ll be back soon with a new date and can’t wait to celebrate with you then. Thanks for sticking with us and supporting The Cariad Project. 💛

The fundraiser is back ....bigger, bolder, and ready for game day.

For the first time, The Cariad Project is bringing kindness to Currambine.
Join us for our Kindness in Community: Bake, Pack & Give Back session on 30th May.
A hands-on workshop where kids will bake with purpose, pack care items, and learn how small acts of kindness can create real impact.
This session will support young people accessing Passages Youth Engagement Hub and Street Connect, with all donations going directly toward supporting young people experiencing hardship.
