Spent Australia Day yesterday on a 15 hour Qantas charter flight aboard a Boeing 787 Dreamliner ... Destination Antartica. Pilots and cabin crew were great. Multiple passes 1,000 metres above mountain ranges, glaciers etc, all from different angles.
Superb flying. Words and photos fail abysmally to describe the enormity of scale and sublime majesty of what is earth's largest and driest desert and most hostile environment to life. Various scientists aboard gave fascinating expert commentary as to how the continent holds many clues and keys to enhanced sustainability of life however for our entire planet.

Please help me to welcome back Chris Boyes to the First Officer’s (instructor’s) seat!
Chris worked with us for several years however the bug has bitten him hard again and it’s great to have him back!
Hailing back to the mid-1970’s, he’s an ex-RAF pilot and an Aeronautical Engineer and Design Graduate (Hons), thus he returns with 46 years of piloting experience at your disposal.
He says his most enjoyable moments have been in transferring his knowledge to both trainee pilots and the public, by way of demystifying the cockpit for those relatively small few who will never experience let alone truly know and appreciate such systems and functions.
Chris has helped people from ages four to 86 to land an aircraft, such are his exemplary instructional skills.
I know you’ll be delighted for Chris and indeed any of our highly experienced, dedicated and talented instructors, to unlock for you the marvels of our flight simulator as based on the world’s most widely used commercial airliner, the famous Boeing 737 800NG.
