Our Valentine

At the 50th Anniversary of racing at Barbagallo Raceway, one of Perth’s most victorious racecars will hit the track 25 years after its debut.

Preparing her has brought back some great memories and can’t wait to see her back with Walter behind the wheel on March 2nd and 3rd.

Auto Exclusive Perth supported Walters son Michael on the weekend competing in the F1000 category in an Arise Racing Stohr.

It’s been awhile since our last post and we have been flat out looking after our customers cars.
The 300D restoration is coming along nicely and we will update the page with progress photos shortly.
Unfortunately the last race meeting didn’t go to plan..
After qualifying 2nd outright, we had the crankshaft snap in the final heat of the day. Also damage to the crankcase has put the car out of action till replacement parts can be sourced.

Porsche legends are kept at the Porsche Museum for future generations to enjoy. But once in a while also our treasures need a change of scenery. This time they took a little tour though their home town Stuttgart.

Auto Exclusive Perth’s 930 turbo was put to the test on the weekend competing in the Wanneroo 300.
After winning the race the 2 years ago Walter and the crew hoped for another competitive race.
Unfortunately the race through many surprises and tests at the team but together they fought through them and never gave up.
After strong last stint from Walter, he was able to catch the 2nd place car with 5 laps remaining and make the pass.
A great result for the car and team.
Congratulations and thank you too all the family and friends that helped and supported us.
Looking forward to season 2018!

Walter’s 300D Adenauer is starting to come together.
Engine and transmission has been rebuilt and installed.
Nearly time to put the body on.
