My Story

Hello, my name is Lee & I am the creator & maker behind Bare Botanics, an organic & natural skincare collection, handmade in North Perth, Western Australia. My skincare making journey began in 2003, after attending an essential oils workshop. It was love at first inhale. After further study, research, courses & workshops, I ventured into the world of formulating & creating lotions & potions for my own skin, family & friends, who were willing participants in the testing process, giving valuable & honest feedback on my experiments. In 2014, encouraged by the response I decided to create a brand for my creations.

Bare Botanics’ mission CARING FOR YOUR BARE SKIN SIMPLY is a commitment to sourcing the finest quality, certified organic, fair-trade & natural ingredients. Plant-derived oils, butter, extracts & essential oils, are nature’s simple but potent solution to synergistically promoting & maintaining a healthy, clear, calm complexion; happy skin. Bare Botanics products are gentle & can be used for all skin types; a safe approach to looking after your skin without unnecessary & unpronounceable ingredients - the fillers, artificial fragrances, colours, synthetic preservatives & animal ingredients.

I am conscious of the impact of throwaway packaging has on the environment & am committed to minimal packaging. I use glass bottles & jars (encouraging returns for recycling) & recycled paper packaging. You can find Bare Botanics’ products online, in local & interstate stores, at markets in & around Perth & regional Western Australia.
