From July 1, you'll be able to claim the $100 Fuel Support Payment - available to everyone with a valid WA Driver's Licence.
It's available from the first of July and the quickest and easiest way is through the Service WA app.

Applications are now open for Synergy's Community Giving Fund, with grants of up to $10,000 available.
The fund supports not-for-profits, registered charities and social enterprises delivering positive outcomes across the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) where Synergy operates, which extends from Kalbarri in the north, east to Kalgoorlie and south to Albany.
Since 2022, the grants have supported a broad range of initiatives, including programs which create social connectedness, improve mental and physical wellbeing and enhance community spaces, such as Jacaranda Community Centre (pictured) and Trillion Trees Australia in the Belmont electorate.

We do love our sport here in Belmont! So it's exciting to share that general public tickets are now on sale for the 2026-27 Summer of Cricket.
The WA fixtures, supported by the Cook Labor Government, form part of a huge international cricket summer, culminating in the historic 150th Anniversary Ashes Test later in the season.
Perth will host the NRMA Insurance Men's West Test between Australia and New Zealand from 9 to 13 December 2026, alongside a One Day International between Australia and England on 13 November 2026.

It was great to catch up with Trillion Trees Australia to hear about the incredible work they do to restore and protect Western Australia's national environment.
For decades, Trillion Trees has played a leading role in environmental restoration, growing, and planting native species and engaging communities in caring for our environment.
It was valuable to hear directly from Mark, Kate, and Paul about their work and their vision for the future.
In parliament I asked our Health Minister, what is the government's plan to build on the success of WA Virtual Emergency Department and WAVED Kids?
Recent data shows that around 9 in 10 children whose families used WAVED Kids were able to stay home rather than make a trip to hospital.

The Cook Labor Government has launched an Aftercare Services Program to support people discharged from hospital and emergency departments following a su***de attempt or suicidal crisis.
The Aftercare service, delivered in partnership with WA Primary Health Alliance, will provide an interim safety net, psychosocial support and coordinate access and transition into longer-term supports.

Perth Film Studios is a HUGE, world-class complex - it includes 4 large acoustic sound stages, 2 workshops, wardrobe and hair/makeup spaces, production offices and green rooms, built by the State Government right here in Perth!
We walked through a new set, saw another being constructed at the workshop, and checked out the screening room - none of which I could photograph because of the exciting projects currently underway.
