Did you know I make pouches with profanity/rude/sweary/naughty/funny fabrics? I have done for years and I take them to market where I keep them all together in the one box so they are easy to find (or easy to ignore if you are offended).

I've just cut out a pile of sunglass pouches, coin purses and pencil cases which I will be working on this week so I can have them ready for on Saturday 6th June.

The weather looks like it will be perfect so come up for a peek.

When I have things on my mind or something is troubling me I design something new, it keeps my mind busy. It can take me many hours or even days to get an item to work out properly, its my trial and error style of creating.

The first item I got right on the 3rd attempt and this little basket ended up wrong too. The two outer pieces with wadding ended up being on the same side and the lining pieces without wadding ended up on the other, not at all like it is supposed to be, it wouldn't sit straight, but the size turned out perfect.

I'll share the combined set when I have something to photograph. I hope it will become a popular item in my range.

Today I made this cross body bag with beautiful blue wren and pink eucalyptus fabric.

It is my own design and it has two nice big pockets, one underneath the outer flap and the other is inside.

I designed this bag to be nice and roomy and the pockets just the right size for a mobile phone.

The black strap is adjustable so you can wear it long or short.

I'll be taking it to the next Saturday, open 8.30am to 2.00pm.

My helper isn't helping today. She decided to have her nap under my chair and right by my sewing machine treadle so it looks like I'll call it a day. I hate to disturb her especially while she is in such a deep sleep that I can see her dreaming. I've already had a big break because she kept giving me her toys and giving me "the look" and now this. Maybe she thinks I work to hard.
