The Layered Page

Last weekend, husband and I went to the Perth Home Show and I purchased this statue for our garden. Not because I love snails but because it has a whimsical quality about. Something about it made me instantly want to get it and I have no regrets. She fits perfectly into our outdoor space ♥️

Been out and about today collecting some more treasures of the rustic kind 🫶🙌

Late yesterday I saw a post about a garage sale that I had missed. It looked right up my alley so I messaged and asked if I could please come today. They responded and said yes, so this morning I went to Mandurah. I was there for two hours rummaging and fossicking through a wonderful collection of timber treasures and assorted metal door hardware and hooks. I was really in my element. I filled the car and drove home to unpack and inspect my purchases. I spent the afternoon sorting and cleaning them, I was in my happy place. Needless to say none of my list of jobs to do today got done but that’s ok because I enjoyed my detour and don’t regret a single minute 🙌😍

This afternoon I visited the amazing in Serpentine for a clay workshop. Leah is so lovely and welcoming and her space and garden are just pure magic. I was in heaven the moment I stepped through the door. This place speaks to every part of my being and it felt like ‘home’. The workshop was so relaxed and enjoyable. I’m proud of my buttons and owl and look forward to seeing them again when they are glazed and fired. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have not already. Love, love, love 💗
