What keeps you up at night?
That was the question guiding conversation at our second annual Gold Leaders Dinner, held at the extraordinary .
Executive leaders from our Gold Member and Board cohort came together to reflect on the opportunities and challenges shaping Perth’s future — from education and energy literacy, to media trust, Asian trading partnerships, Perth Airport’s $5+ billion expansion, and the role Committee for Perth plays as a trusted convener of these critical conversations.
The insights were generous, the discussion thoughtful, and the setting truly golden.
In a world where time is an increasingly precious resource, even more so than gold, we are deeply grateful to those who chose to spend an evening sharing their ideas, experience and ambition for Perth’s future.
🚴♂️ We’ve cycled through all the latest stories about developments, activities and events having a positive impact on Perth, and the Perth Update newsletter is now live!

’s Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor exhibition is exclusive in every sense of the word. With 90% of the objects on display never before seen in Australia – and some never having left China – we are incredibly fortunate to have this exhibition here in Perth, and even more so to have welcomed members to an exclusive viewing this morning.
Immersive digital experiences, extraordinary craftmanship of ancient China on display, and the fascinating journey through the life – and afterlife – of Qin Shihuang, make this exhibition unmissable.
With just 18 days left until the Terracotta Warriors return to China, run, don’t walk!
Cheers to an incredible night! To celebrate the year that was, members and friends of Committee for Perth joined together on Tuesday evening at the beautiful Lamont’s Bishops House 🌹🍾

To be prepared for our future in Perth we will need very different skills. With just 8,849 days to go until 2050, we’re asking, do you think today’s workers and students have the knowledge and flexibility for tomorrow’s changing industries?
This is just one of the big topics we will be exploring at the 2050 Summit on 22 October, where we will dive into the bold actions needed to shape a liveable and future-ready Perth.

Australia’s capital cities power our economy—home to two-thirds of our population and generating nearly 70% of GDP. They’re hubs of innovation, talent, and opportunity.
To build a stronger, more resilient future, cities must be at the centre of national reform.
We’re proud to join forces with Committees for Adelaide, Brisbane, Greater Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney to present two key events exploring how cities can lead Australia’s next chapter of prosperity.
