OPERABOX LEAVES A LEGACY + AWARDS NEXT GENERATION

Today we celebrate the end of a chapter as we announce our windup and the Operabox Emerging Arts Leadership Awards.

This initiative has invested our remaining funds of $15,000 into the next generation of grassroots artist-led arts organisations in Perth, contributing to the continued vibrancy of the local arts ecosystem.

This award will provide support to two deserving organisations that embody leading-edge practices and hold a unique place within the Perth arts ecosystem.

Operabox is proud to announce Tenth Muse Initiative and Bloomhouse Projects as the co-winners of this award.

The award is specifically designed to support the producers for the two companies’ future projects and both organisations have received $7,500.

Operabox invites the community to celebrate its legacy and join in honouring these outstanding emerging arts leaders who will carry the torch forward into a promising future for the arts in Perth.
