As we left the closing ceremony we were waved on our way by lots of the volunteers who have been helping us find our way around the city.

Sitting having lunch in The House of Friendship when we bumped into people who know our two Cambodian students we sponsor. San, on the right was Principal of the school that Mona went to, and Sokvorn was Principal of the school Sreychin was at. Richard, next to me has been involved with Sustainable Cambodia from the beginning. Small world indeed.

Mostly full, more pouring in. Waiting for the Opening Ceremony to commence. There will be about 20,000 of us at this session. Similar numbers at this morning’s event.

Usually we toast a specific Rotary Club anywhere in the world at our meetings. We have been working our way through the alphabet and one of our members selects a club and provides us with some information about the work they do. Our 'toaster' was away sick today, so we decided that we'd toast all clubs that start with the letter "W". So if that fits your club, we thought about you this morning.

We're super excited to be supporting the WA Pedal Prix 2026 season, which kicked off in Bunbury on 3 May.

Our club is proud to be again sponsoring the Wright Trikes team, and look forward to cheering them on at the upcoming races in Yanchep on 13 June and Perth Motorplex on 26 July.

We continue to be amazed at the work Rotarians are doing around the world. With your help we can make polio disappear from this planet. Get immunised, share the message, donate to the End Polio Now project.

Thank you to those who are out there immunizing others.

We love handing out Lego. At our meeting on Tuesday we provided a Tub full of Lego to the South Coogee Primary School's Lego Play Group. Aguer, the school's chaplain came to collect the tub during the holidays so he can have it ready for when school starts. Have fun, and we'd love to see how the students enjoy using the Lego.
