It was such a pleasure to see Jane Li Art as she delivered some brand-new artwork to Aspects this week!

Jane Li is a painter and a photographer, originally trained as an artist in China. When she moved to Australia, Jane fell in love with the beautiful native flora and fauna. In 2015 she became a Kings Park volunteer guide and served over 10 years in the role before recently retiring to focus on other projects. The knowledge Jane gained about native plants throughout her time at Kings Park helped her to understand the plants and gave her inspiration. She started to draw them to help her remember the botanical name and make her guided talks more interesting.

We would like to thank Jane for her years of service at Kings Park, and we are delighted to share her beautiful artwork with you at Aspects. Looking for orchid is a great fun. Every year I make several trips to see wildflowers and especially for the orchid.

A special farewell to this handsome Black Cockatoo as he flies to his wonderful new home. His new owner is excited to welcome him, where he’ll enjoy the company of fellow cockatoos in the yard. Wishing him a life filled with joy, friendship, and adventure.
