This evening is an opportunity to reflect, remember, and celebrate the Gift of Life by lighting a candle or leaving your porch light on. To help raise awareness, we encourage you to share a photo of your tribute with Donor Families Australia.

Our nurses play a vital role in the donation journey—from guiding and supporting donors and their families with compassion and care, to working closely with medical teams to ensure each donation is carried out with dignity and the highest standard of care.

Not only do they provide great images like this one but our Microbiology team ensure the tissue we produce is safe and suitable for implantation. By collecting and testing air samples they are able to identify if any bacteria is present.
The gram stain is a crucial first step in monitoring and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our allografts.
