We don’t usually share go fund me’s, however Clara’s family has been through a lot and her mum has exhausted her funds paying for Clara’s teeth to be removed earlier this year. Clara in need of surgery to have her mammary tumours removed and at 11 years young Clara still has plenty of life left in her yet. She is also a vital support system to her mum and extended family, who experienced a personal tragedy a few years ago.

Clara’s family also wanted us to share the importance of having dogs speyed early. Even if female dogs aren’t used for breeding, early sterilisation does reduce the likelihood of mammary tumours developing significantly. In addition speying eliminates chances of deadly pyometra and accidental litters. 🛑

This piggy is in need of a rescue to step up.

It is likely to be destroyed due to the impact it will have on the delicate native ecosystem. The City of Armadale rangers will not attend the swamp area where it is located.

The pig is a domestic pig. It has likely escaped or been dumped. No info on whether it is tame or friendly.

This is a protected ecological area so piggy needs a home. 🏠

We hope the Department of Housing will reconsider this decision and find an appropriate solution. They are failing to consider the emotional support pets provide for their tenants and the impact on animal welfare agencies when owners are forced to give up their pets. As a government organisation they should be setting a good example in the rental industry. ✅
