🚨 RBA RATE RISE TODAY 🚨
The Reserve Bank has lifted the cash rate by 0.25% to 4.35%.
Why?
Inflation is picking up again — driven by:
• Rising fuel and commodity prices (Middle East conflict)
• Ongoing cost pressures on businesses
• Early signs of price increases flowing through the economy
The RBA expects inflation to peak higher than previously forecast before easing as higher rates slow demand.
There’s also growing uncertainty:
