The award is for creative young writers aged between 18 and 35 for fiction, narrative non-fiction or young adult young fiction. It has just been announced entries are now open for the inaugural award with a $20,000 prize for the winner as well as a publishing contract. I was invited late last year to help produce a logo that brought together two organisations - The Kai Eardley Fund and Black Dog on a Lead Inc. Both parties are dedicated to raising funds for the improvement of mental health services and at the same time help encourage conversation around a subject that can be challenging. It was a privilege to be involved with this collaboration and it was awesome to see the logo applied across digital and print. I look forward to attending the next Black Dog on a Lead Inc event.
