At Focus we don’t sell services to businesses who do not need our services. Simple.
Since 2018 we have provided a range of services to clinics nationwide. (Not all of our services are related ro accreditation but this post is discussing accreditation assistance only)The accreditation services are usually needed by clinics who are time poor, not experienced or feeling fully confident (and may just need a consult for reassurance or what to expect) or very experienced in the health industry but have never taken part of an accreditation process.
A large part of the accreditation assistance is also education. We want our clients to know and understand and mostly maintain the standards so they are maintained all year - not just one day every three years.

Recruitment and training new staff members is a high cost…..the right systems and onboarding are so so crucial!
Number one mistake from clients or consults over the years. When you look at your expiry date on your accreditation do not think or plan that your site visit will be close to that date. Safe rule of thumb is usually about three months prior. This allows time to ensure any corrective actions or evidence requested can be provided to ensure no gap of the accreditation- as all the incentives your clinic receives also is based on the fact you are accredited. Many people I speak with have a sudden realisation that they have lost three months they mentally had before they needed to be “ready”. Be aware of when your site visit is likely to occur and maintaining is much easier than reinventing the wheel every three years. Get in touch today and let’s discuss your accreditation needs.

Today is an exciting day for us. My daughter is having her hair cut and donating to wigs for kids as well as fundraising through wigs for kids. The wigs are at no charge to the families and 100% of proceeds goes to families affected by childhood cancer. The video is unscripted (both of them) and all her words. The idea is all hers and she only recently told us the reason she’s adamantly refused a hair cut for a year or so. She’s got around 30cm of hair to donate. In the comments I’ll add the link that you can donate to if you wish. We are super proud of a little girl who wants to change the world.
Her brother also brought his savings for a bigger item he wants so has been saving. I said no I’ll donate for you, keep your money buddy. He said “this is more important than a toy” proud parents watching children understand the world is much bigger and they can’t solve all problems but they can help in their own small ways.
