This is Nico's "sitter" session, and can we just talk about those first two photos. That face. Zero interest in what I was doing, fully prepared to walk out if things didn't improve.
And then quick feed and he just... cracked. Giggling, crawling toward the camera, completely different baby.
This is exactly why I love this stage so much. Newborns are sleepy little loaves who mostly just exist beautifully. By six to nine months, you're photographing an actual person, full of opinions, expressions, and that specific kind of baby chaos energy.

Belle came in with a full head of dark hair, the most perfect rosebud mouth, and absolutely zero interest in being rushed. She settled in, got comfortable, and basically ran the whole session at her own pace.

Which, honestly, is the only pace that matters when you're this new.

She arrived and every male in this family immediately lost their mind. Big brother, who I'm told was very cool about the whole thing, could not stop smiling. Dad held her like she was made of something precious. Which, to be fair, she was.
Belle had her eyes wide open for most of this session. Taking it all in. Clocking everything.
