There are more jobs being created to focus on culture, well-being and flex work.
After COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions, working from home or hybrid has become the new normal. Remote work has created new challenges, such as engagement and connectivity with others, and to the company itself.
If the current trend continues, there could be an increase in roles for many different aspects that matter to employees, such as ageism, neurodiversity and family caretaking responsibilities.

Skills needed to perform the same jobs are changing.
Jobseekers are in a stronger position to negotiate employment terms, as the labour market tightens after lockdown periods.
From 2015-2021, skills for the same occupation have changed 25%. The top three industries with the largest change includes recreation and travel, hardware and networking, and health care.
Workers in these areas, and others, should consider how skills are changing and learn new skills. These new skill sets can be developed for their current role, or when new opportunities arise.
