It’s Saturday, which means another episode of Whatchu Got Zeppy! 😄

Today’s feature: the usual recycling parade… because nothing says “weekend is here” like Zeppy fully committed to supervising every single bin movement like it’s a major life event 🗑️👀

Happy Saturday all — hope your household supervisor is just as dedicated (and slightly ridiculous) as ours! 😂🐶

Mashy has officially chosen chaos and comfort… hiding under the blanket while casually using Zeppy as a scratch-and-ring-the-weekend bell 😂

We had the pleasure of welcoming this gorgeous puppy to the dog whispering world and we can’t wait to watch them grow in confidence, learn about the world, and have plenty of fun along the way.

Safe to say they’ve already stolen a few hearts around here! ❤️🐶

When we first met, she was carrying a lot of worry. People coming into the house, noises around the home, movement outside the window — everything felt like something she needed to manage. Barking had become her way of coping with a world that didn’t feel safe or predictable.

Fast forward just two months, and her transformation is incredible. ❤️

Her humans have been working hard on her emotional development, helping her build genuine feelings of safety rather than simply trying to stop the barking. As a result, those coping strategies are starting to disappear because she no longer needs them in the same way.

Today we saw her choosing to come to her humans for safety and support, and even engaging in beautiful prosocial interactions with her household dog friends. 🐾

This is what behaviour change looks like. Not suppressing behaviour, but changing the emotions driving it.

I am so grateful to her wonderful humans who have truly listened to what she needs and committed to giving it to her. Watching a dog start to feel safe in their world is one of the most rewarding parts of this job.

Needless to say, I’m absolutely chuffed. 🥰

Add in some incredible wildlife, peaceful surroundings, and great company, and you’ve got a pretty amazing way to spend a day outdoors.

Moments like these remind us just how much there is to enjoy when we slow down and connect with the world around us. 🌿🦆

The moment it came off, Zeppy grabbed it and began parading it around like she’d just made the most important arrest in town. 🚔🤣
