Introducing WA’s new Food Innovation Precinct. EPCAD recently collaborated with i2C Architects to help deliver this stunning project. The landscape design simulates agricultural methods past and present. It features a network of open water channels fed by an 8m high suspended water tank which lead to sculptural ‘furrows’ embedded in the landscape with emerging plants. Seat walls and raised planters are designed to hold and grow edible planting similar to modern hydroponic techniques. Plant species were carefully selected to establish a flowering and fruiting, edible landscape. Check out these great images on i2C’s website:

Our Perth studio is currently looking for aspiring Landscape Architects to join the team and be a part of our future direction. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and be a part of creating great places and shaping the way we work.
You can be part of our studio within a supportive and friendly team. You should have a passion for environmentally responsive design and an enthusiasm to learn in a dynamic small-studio team. The role will suit a landscape architect who has 1 to 4 years’ experience and wants to take on challenges and tasks, developing their career. We know that you will be self-motivated and will be keen to expand your knowledge and experience. This is a chance to grow your career by working and learning within an experienced group with shared professional goals.
EPCAD is a leading Landscape Architecture studio that has been crafting valued places and spaces for 30 years. Our involvement in award-winning parks, public realm, infrastructure, new communities, resorts and urban renewal projects has foundation in environmental and cultural integrity.

You will be involved in a range of tasks including Master Planning, Concept Design, Design Development, Detailed Contract Documentation and Contract Administration on a broad range of projects. WHAT WE SEEK
We are looking for a team player with a landscape architectural degree that can bring their -
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Abilities in 3D programs (Revit, Sketchup an advantage but not required)
• Great graphics skills and abilities in Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision of senior staff
