Today is World Environment Day which is celebrated annually on June 5 to call for global action for the protection of the environment 🌎

Our Equip for Sport program not only provides pre-loved sports equipment it also reduces items unnecessarily going to landfill ♻️

In 2025 nearly 17,000 items of equipment were donated to over 140 organisations working with those in need ✌🏽

This equipment is equivalent to 529 household wheelie bins worth diverted from landfill at a value of nearly $300k 🤩

We’re pretty proud of how our Equip for Sport program supports those in need and also helps the environment! 🤸🏽‍♀️

June is set to be a HUGE month of travel for our team, with trips planned for the Pilbara and Kimberley visiting Warralong, Strelley, Yandeyarra, Looma, Bidyadanga, Roebourne, Wickham and Karratha! 😮‍💨

Last year we had the absolute pleasure of running our Game On! and Healthy Communities programs in 38 communities across Western Australia 💪🏽

We spent 273 days conducting 383 program sessions, involving 9,333 participants and nearly 3,000 volunteer hours 🤩

Our good friends at Christ Church Grammar School ran a donation drive and fundraiser for us and the results was amazing! 🤸🏽‍♀️

Not only did they collect this haul of pre-loved equipment for our Equip for Sport program, they also donated over $2,500 to our cause 🙏🏽

Christ Church Grammar School support us every year and we are very grateful ☺️

🚨 KidSport Reminder! 🚨

For those eligible families a reminder to use your approved KidSport vouchers before 30 June 2026 👍🏼

KidSport is a wonderful initiative that enables eligible WA kids aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance towards club fees, and in some cases essential uniforms and equipment 💪🏽

KidSport funding doesn’t roll over, so make sure to use your voucher and finalise your club registration before the end of the financial year 📅

A big shout out to Main Roads Western Australia for this awesome donation of Pilates equipment to our Equip for Sport program! 🤩

Items included Pilates rings and balls. exercise steps plus yoga bolsters and mats 🧘🏻‍♀️

This equipment won’t last long, heading out to help those in need participate in physical activity 👍🏼

Earlier this term our Kununurra Hub ventured to Wyndham for an outreach trip 😎

The afternoon was jam packed with pool activities, Game On! action (dodgeball was a standout!), a healthy feed and plenty of fruit! 🥳

Our team had a blast running our Fit & Healthy in the Outback program in this beautiful remote Gascoyne community ♥️

Highlights included plenty of Game On! action plus cooking healthy burgers with the kids to share with community members 😋

Thanks to Healthway we have some brilliant resources to support our Healthy Communities messaging across the Mid West, Gascoyne and Goldfields 🤸🏽‍♀️

With a focus on increased physical activity, healthy eating behaviours, smoking prevention and improved mental wellbeing the resources assist in teaching these simple yet effective health promotion messages ✌🏽

The banner is a great way to consolidate all the learnings in a fun and creative way, often proudly displayed for all the community to see 🥰
