From the runway to the running track! ✈️🏃
A big thank you to our RFDS doctors and nurses who volunteered as the medical team at the WA Marathon Club Wadjemup Running Festival last weekend.
We're proud to have been the event's beneficiary and grateful to our team for giving their time to support runners and our WA community.
Five more years of support. One incredible partnership 🚁
Thank you, Fortescue, for renewing your support of the RFDS Fortescue Heli-Med Service and helping us deliver lifesaving care across Western Australia.

200,000km travelled. Countless communities reached.
We're proud to be part of a national organisation that continues to strengthen healthcare access across Australia, with the support of valued partners like Isuzu UTE Australia.
From towing aeromedical simulators to helping deliver hands-on training and education programs in regional and remote communities, every kilometre travelled helps make a difference where it's needed most.
Thank you to Isuzu UTE Australia for helping us reach more communities across Australia 💙🚑
A new Pilatus PC-12 PRO has touched down in WA.
The first of its kind to join the RFDS WA fleet, this aircraft has been made possible through the generous support of Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, the Rinehart Medical Foundation and Hancock Iron Ore.
This aircraft is the first of eight new PC-12 PROs we will welcome to our fleet by 2030. Flying a combined six million kilometres each year, our aircraft support more 10,000 aeromedical retrievals annually across some of the most remote parts of Western Australia.
With greater speed, range and advanced technology, the Pilatus PC-12 PRO will help ensure our crews can continue delivering life-saving care when and where it is needed most🙌

What a fantastic example of teamwork across services! It was a privilege for our RFDS crew to work alongside the dedicated volunteers from Wagin St John Ambulance and the specialist team from the Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS WA) to ensure this little patient received the highest level of care🙌🏼

When was the last time you checked in on a mate?
This Men's Health Week, we're encouraging men across WA to prioritise their mental wellbeing and start conversations that matter.
Looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health, yet many men still find it difficult to reach out when they're struggling.
A simple check-in, a conversation over a coffee, or taking time to look after your own wellbeing can make a real difference🙌
If you or someone you know needs support, resources for men’s mental health across metropolitan and regional Western Australia can be found via the link below:
