“It goes beyond 50 years, right? It goes 50,000 years of deadly.” 🖤💛❤️
That's Kevin Bynder, Mardaa CEO and Whadjuk-Yuet and Widi-Badimia Yamatji artist, at our NAIDOC event.
Walking alongside our fellow Aboriginal businesses like and is our way of continuing traditions, songlines and knowledge.
We hope everyone in attendance enjoyed the celebration in each other's company, and was reminded that we can make change.
Together, as one.

NAIDOC Week is always meaningful for our team, and this year’s ‘50 Years of Deadly’ was no exception.
We partnered with Woollahra | Industrial Distribution | Aboriginal Owned Business and surekleenchemicals to bring the community together at Woollahra HQ, opening with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony from Uncle Len Yarran.
We did what Mardaa do best, sharing culture through art. Kevin Bynder hosted an art workshop and community canvas, where guests were given the opportunity to get involved in a shared project. We also provided deadly merch for the day, featuring Kevin’s designs that were inspired by this year’s theme.
Andrew Beck shared the history of the didgeridoo followed by a powerful performance, and GATHER FOODS kept everyone fed and connected with incredible catering throughout the day.
Collectively, we all share a mission of serving a greater purpose, so guests were invited to take on a 250-metre Rowing Challenge to raise awareness for the Atlantic Waterbirds’ upcoming World’s Toughest Row.
We’re proud to walk alongside our fellow Aboriginal-owned businesses, celebrating culture, business and community coming together.
Deadly, now and for another 50 years to come.

Our deadly partners have been asking for smoother ways to order…
And now they have it!
Our B2B portal now comes with PunchOut and integrates with Ariba and SAP, making ordering effortless.
The new website shows businesses big and small everything we’re capable of. Merch, furniture, uniforms, signage, custom art, carpet, rugs and more.
At the heart of everything we do is giving back. Every time you order with us, a portion of profits goes towards empowering First Nations communities through the Mardaa Fund.
