Rest days are so very important.
Not only are they important mentally, they are also obviously important to you physically. Work outs drain your body of its glycogen stores. Glycogen provides the energy to your workout. It also repairs the microscopic muscle tears, reduces inflammation and helps regulate hormones.
Rest days really should be about restoring what you have depleted and refuelling for what's to come.
So, make sure you are taking time in your Sunday to rest and refuel both physically and mentally ✌️✌️
Every day we just keep going. Scaling where we need to. We are always humbled, but never giving up.
