We can’t wait to kick off our school holiday program tomorrow and we’re so excited to be working with guest mentor Denzel Mahusay 🙌

Denzel is one of Perth’s most multi-faceted artists with exceptional skills such as hip-hop dance choreography, music production and DJing. After experiencing ‘Hip Hop International Las Vegas’ in 2014, his passion and drive for dance exponentially increased and he sought out to expand his knowledge and training in various events such as - ‘Australian Hip Hop Dance Championships’, ‘HHI’ San Diego, ‘World of Dance’, and ‘Dancers Paradise’ Mexico. He has taken all of his experiences and continues to shares them across the wider dance community in Perth.

His most recent work includes: Hairspray The Musical (2024), Footloose The Musical (2025), The Wizard of Oz (2025), Mr Mistoffelees in Cats The Musical, Perth (2019), Dancer in AFL Grand Final, Perth (2021), and Dancer/Ensemble in Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Perth (2022).

🍎 RECESS DUTY set to premiere at FRINGE WORLD 2026! 🍎

Inspired by real life experiences, this dark comedy is equal parts therapy, satire, and solidarity. Recess Duty is a comedic love letter from one primary school teacher to another, capturing the messy, hilarious, and at times heartbreaking realities of school life.

Set entirely in a school staffroom in Term 4, educators ranging from bright-eyed newbies to battle-hardened veterans juggle unruly students, relentless admin, and curveballs from every direction - all while clinging to their sanity (and their mugs).

Think ‘The Office’ but with more glitter glue, overdue permission slips, and late night parent emails.
