During this NAIDOC Week, we proudly focus on the theme "For Our Elders" to honor the significant role they play in our communities. Across generations, our Elders have been instrumental in shaping our culture and supporting our families.

Recognising their invaluable contributions, we at Novata took action by supporting our local community. As part of our commitment, we sponsored the Panthers Netball Team at the Boorloo NAIDOC Netball Carnival. To ensure their success, Novata supported the Panthers with their uniforms for the tournament. It was an incredible event, with over 100 teams coming together at the Gold Netball Centre and Perth Netball Association. The carnival marked its 20th anniversary and was a highlight of Netball WA's NAIDOC Week celebrations.

By taking concrete steps to support local initiatives, we demonstrate our dedication to fostering community connections and empowering our Elders. Let's celebrate their wisdom and guidance, appreciating their contributions to both advocacy and everyday life. Together, we can continue to pave the way for a brighter future.

We had the absolute pleasure working alongside Sage Counselling Services in the past few months to focus on our work-life-balance, culture building, and stress management! We decided to get in a mental health OT to help our individual and organisational health in a practical and healthy way.

Working in individual and group sessions, our team was able to put a focus on themselves and where their individual and work priorities lay in their lives, looking at healthy and positive coping mechanisms and communication techniques.

Lately we have really enjoyed and had the privilege of working in the Organisational OT space with this great company. We provided culture building, stress management and practical work-life balance interventions, through group and individual in-house contact.
