A super functional little addition! A 1.6m sliver of space down the side of the house is now a gorgeous light filled ensuite highlighting the original federation bricks, and a walk in robe. By utilising a timber framed boundary wall system, precious millimetres were turned into useable space - and from the street it just looks like a tall fence. All beautifully executed by the owner-builder client.

This major addition to a modest post war cottage adds a new master suite, open plan living and double garage with workshop. The renovation plans also convert rooms in the existing house for zoned family living. Large banks of north facing glass overlooking the pool take advantage of the excellent site orientation.

North Perth is looking a bit different than it did on demo day!

Work begins in North Perth... the old kitchen, laundry and verandah have been demolished to make way for the new addition.

Love a good stair, and this one that links four different levels is pretty special.
