Breathing new life into this apartment, perched on one of Fremantle’s most historic streets. This wonderful family envisioned a vibrant, inner-city home, with art and culture at the heart of its revival.

Classic white cabinetry with touches of brass creates the perfect balance of sophistication and warmth in the beautiful main bathroom.

We were brought on to create 3D concepts for the interiors, and we're thrilled with the stunning result our clients have achieved.​​​​​​​​

Our clients entrusted us with the transformation of their worn extension, seeking enhanced flow, sustainable functionality, increased natural light and improved connectivity to the outdoors.

Within a 78m2 space, we crafted a multi-functional haven comprising a spacious Kitchen & walk-in pantry, Living and Dining Room, Office, Laundry, Powder Room, Main Bathroom and pool Cabana. Through astute spatial planning and structural redesign, we redefined the family's daily living experience. We meticulously combined abundant storage capacity for future-proofing with an expansive, open spatial experience, ensuring a seamless balance between functionality and internal volumes.

It was our goal with Derby House to make the same space work harder and inject much needed light and character into the space. The size of the project served as a driving force for creativity and innovation, pushing us to reimagine traditional design paradigms and devise inventive solutions to optimise space, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

The reworked extension features the same rooms (living, dining, kitchen, laundry, bathroom, powder room, and study), but in a more free flowing configuration that embraces the backyard. The kitchen in particular was opened up to benefit from this west-facing aspect and overlook the living and dining areas opposite.
