So in comes this elderly guy with his shoprider stating it’s to slow and takes him all day to go to shops do his shopping and general daily tasks , we sat him down worked out a few ideas and then this was created …. A registered almost new Ducati e-scooter with all the mods and power mr old mate would need was then pulled apart cut in half and grafted together with his shop rider , we retained the shoprider motor which used the rear wheels for its propulsion and top speed of 9 km/hr as well as incorporating the electric Ducati motor originally rear wheel drive into the front of his shoprider as well as upgrading the front forks, this took a fair amount of engineering from Mitch and myself but we did it… so to put it mildly he (old mate) arrives at Cole’s puts it into shoprider motor mode and drives in and thru ,gets all his groceries then when he’s again outside and ready for his home run he then puts it into Ducati mode ( front motor does an incredible burn out and he heads home in one tenth of the time so result is #1 makes his journey so much quicker #2 he now ( old mate) has a new lease on life and #3 no one knows , it was named the Gilfinator and our old mate absolutely loves it ✌️👍
