This week, Scotch joined the fight against MND with our annual Big Freeze fundraisers ❄️ Big Freeze beanies and socks were spotted across the College, while brave staff and students took the plunge into icy water at our Middle and Senior School dunk tanks. The Junior School also got behind the cause, wearing pyjamas to show their support.
It was fantastic to see the whole community come together to raise funds for , building awareness and supporting vital research into motor neurone disease 💙

If time travel was possible, should we send a group of teenagers to the future? That was just one of the questions debated at this year’s World Scholar’s Cup Perth Round, where 90 Scotch boys from Years 7-11 joined over 580 students in two days of fast-paced academic competition.
Centred on the theme Are We There Yet?, the global competition spans 50+ countries and challenges students to think critically, collaborate and engage with complex, future-focused ideas.
Congratulations to our Year 9 team on placing third overall in the Senior Division, and to Felix Moler on his debate showcase selection 🌟

Just before the long weekend, some incredibly brave students from Methodist Ladies' College and Scotch took on a revitalised 50 Mile Walk 🥾 For the first time ever, the walk was held across the Perth metropolitan area. Departing MLC at 3:45am, stopping for breakfast after 25km, then pushing on through the Canning River, the city, Perth Stadium, Vic Park, Nedlands and Dalkeith, before arriving back at Scotch around 9pm.
Covering an enormous 80km in one day (with a couple of hours rain, no less), this was no easy feat, with blisters and battle wounds to prove it. An incredible display of resilience, teamwork and determination. Congratulations to all involved! 👏
