Since joining in 2018, Alex has worked his way up from an Offsider to a Senior Driller. With a Cert 4 under his belt, he credits Swick's innovation, advanced equipment, and commitment to promoting from within for his career growth.

Beyond the job, our family-friendly roster has allowed him to enjoy plenty of family time while working toward his goals. With his eyes set on a leadership role, Alex describes the Swick culture as fast-paced, rewarding, and full of opportunity"

Meet Luke!

Five years ago, Luke joined the team as a "green" Offsider. Since then, he has worked across seven different sites, gaining his Cert 2 and 3 in diamond drilling and building serious confidence on the tools. Now a D2, he’s proud of his career progression and grateful for the support he's had along the way.

For Luke, Swick isn't just a place to work; it’s a culture he describes as supportive, family-oriented, and safe. His career has allowed him to chase life beyond the rig, including memorable travel adventures to Alaska and Europe.
