Magic Rub

My mum... aka Gail... has decided that she needs to prep for the biggest food day of the year.

Let's be clear here, she's not actually prepping the food, she's prepping to EAT the food... and she's highly committed.

Gail's theory = build muscle = faster metabolism = burn more calories, quicker = make way for more food. Sound feasible?

So here I am, on the first day of summer, holding her hand while she takes the stairs at West Beach two at a time... only on the way up though, she lands every step on the way down just to be on the safe side.

I knew Gail was up to something huge before we even left the house this morning because she rubbed me into her ankles, shins, calves and knees...

I guess I'll be covering a larger area tonight before she goes to bed to deal with the 6.9km with hills and 2 flights of 119 stairs in just under an hour.

Gail doesn't do things by halves... but why would she when she has me in her corner.

I wonder what we'll get up to tomorrow ...
